Web Design

In 1999, I was working for a company called Computer Zone as a techie and the company made the decision to get a dude to design us a website. Nothing snazzy, just a simple 5 pager at a time when the web was at its infancy. I sat behind this dude and watched him put a site together and I was hooked. It was only a matter of time till I knew this is what I wanted to do and with an opportunity presented to me by my dad at the age of 21, I packed my things and headed to Bangalore, India to learn from some of the best what the internet was capable off.

My first website had a total of 5 frames that managed the "layout" (I promise that was the last) and from there I have been fortunate enough to spend the last 10 years designing websites. From having worked with small agencies to freelancing to now working with one of South Africa’s top online marketing agencies the web has been an amazing journey, much like a relationship filled with all the drama that the a service based career offers.

This section of my site is about my greatest passion, about my contribution, my findings and some resources that make the web all it is and more. Enjoy :)
